OUTBOARD NOT WHAT WAS ORDERED
bought a small outboard and was assured, in wrining, that it included the charging kit-on arrival, it did not. Sales Manager advised to change our charging plans. Wow. Defender account closed, permanent.

Questions
My Yamaha 6hp can't start. pull rope is stuck it has been sitting for years. What can I do
Not sure but I attempted to start my 6hp a week ago only to have the rope jerked out of my hand after 1/4 of a pull. I couldn't get a pull long enough to start the motor. I discoverers that if the throttle handle isn't in the start position and is in more of a run position it seemed that the compression wouldn't let me pull the rope and if I did get a short pull the rope was pulled out of my grip. Once I clo0sed down the throttle handle the pull and start worked great. Not sure if this will help you but I was pretty frustrated til I figured it out.
