Description
Vitrifrigo's DP2600IXD4-F-3 OCX2 Refrigerator / Freezer is a fine appliance designed to meet the needs of discerning boaters. This 2-door unit stands just over 53" and features a total volume of 8.1 cu. ft. It will run on AC or DC power and has a built in compressor. To keep the doors closed and the cold in, this unit utilizes Steelok latch handles on both doors.

Bought Vitrifrigo refrigerator in May doesn't work
I am on a Kady Krogen Endurance
I have a problem with our new Vitrifrigo
refrigerator we got in May from Defender. It has never worked since we put into the boat.It is under warranty.We have called the manufacturer of the refrigerator they told us to do different things we have done everything they said nothing happens. The light comes on in the refrigerator but does not cool. They said they would send someone out in our area, but no one comes and we get the run around since May. I am so depressed because they say that they don't have any parts a controller. Parts are back logged and won't be in for weeks. We can't return it to Defender until someone that the manufacturer sends said it should go back. No one has come out to look at it ever, even though we call every week. We are getting the run around. Not sure what to do.Besides our bad luck, I have seen a rise in complaints about these refrigerators used for marine/RV applications.

Happy with this refrigerator
Very happy with this purchase. This replaced and older Virtfigo refrigerator. This has a better latching system and better insulation as we don't see the level of condensation on the door while moored on humid days at Block island. But beware, this needs about 1/2 inch greater opening than the old Virtfigo refrigerator due to its new latching system.
Uses very little battery power.
