Description
The Vetus PZ Series Rectangular Opening Porthole is suitable for use in the hull side of a boat. Its 10 mm 'smoke' colored opening pane is set in anodized aluminum frame with clamp fixings that ensure no fasteners are visible from either inside or outside.
Features:
- Heavy duty porthole with lens set in aluminum frame CE classified A I suitable for use in hull side
- Friction hinges allow port to remain open in any position
- (2) Large-diameter knobs ensure that porthole can be closed completely watertight
- Clamp type installation ensures that no fasteners are visible internally or externally
- Supplied with composite mosquito screen anodized aluminum mosquito screen available as an option
- Note: Opening portlights must be installed above waterline

Questions
Would you use this one to create a new porthole in a only fiber glass hull? 1 inch thick.
While this portlight would work in a new fiberglass application, the standard fiberglass thickness range it can fit is 2-18mm (or a max of 0.70").
