Description
Vetus control panels for electric bow and stern thrusters can be fitted at any helm position and are easily interconnected.
Features:
- Built-in time lapse device when reversing the direction of rotation
- Automatic switch off after 30 minutes inactivity (this feature is user-selectable during installation)
- Warning LED and buzzer in the event of 2 minutes continuous running
- Automatic thruster switch-off after 2 minutes continuous running (panel resets itself after 5 seconds)
- Protected against accidental or unauthorized operation
- Panel power on indicator
- Control circuit overlaod protection

A perfect fit
The trouble with a replacement part is that its size specs change if only minimal, but this part fit perfectly and resolved a critical delays issue on my thruster. Plus the old unit was 15 years old which makes it even more impressive that it fit in its cutout.

Questions
Does the BPJDE2 replace the BPJDE serial #N0001895? If so, do they have same plug in wiring?
The answer to this largely depends on your thruster and how it was installed. If there is a separate delay box included as part of the installation, it would need to be removed prior to using the BPJDE2 in place of the old switch (by a professional marine electrician to avoid any potential issues). If there is no separate delay box, then you can easily use the BPJDE2. Please don't hesitate to reach out to customer service or to Vetus directly if you have further questions!
