Description
The Vetus anti syphon device helps to prevent cooling water from syphoning back into the exhaust and ultimately into the engine when it is off. This is critical on boats where cooling water is injected into the exhaust less than 6" above the waterline.
Features:
- Syphoning may be prevented by fitting the air vent at least 15.75" (40 cm) above the waterline
- This version has a reliable anti-syphon pressure valve and is self-contained (periodic maintenance is required to prevent clogging with salt crystals)
- Also suitable for use with under waterline head intakes

No screws included? what kind of screws are needed to mount this?
The holes on the vent for mounting accommodate an M5 screw, however the exact type and length will depend on your specific mounting application.
