Perfect for my needs
I use it on my 9' dinghy going from shoreline to the mooring. Freshwater. Easy to attach and remove. Powerful enough. Works as advertised. Should come with an extra key though.

Exactly what I needed
This is the best. I have a tender with a 50yamaha,another with a 9.9 and I own more than two torqeedo electric. All do their jobs quite well. The Temo however is perfect where the others are too much. The temo gets the job done and is so small, lightweight and portable. I use mine on my single person canoe and my roll up dinghy. It takes the row out of the dinghy from the mooring and gets me across the lake in the canoe so I can enjoy the paddle down stream. Stay out of the weeds and don’t go coastal cruising and you’ll be so glad to have this little gem!

Design failure
While this is an interesting design, it has an expensive design flaw. The keyway on the plastic prop will fail from sea grass fouling and thus necessitating replacement. I have owned this less than 6 months and have already had to purchase a new prop for approximately 70 dollars. Service from Temo is essentially non existent., they replied that seaweed or fishing line is the cause of failure? If you plan on purchasing this motor, my experience is that it can propel my walker bay 8 (1 person) at 3 knots with a range of 1 nautical mile. Make sure to have an extra prop on board as well as a star wrench for removal.
