Taylor Made Hull Saver Dock Bumpers
I haven't had a chance to install them yet because we have winter here in NY. However, they seem to be very firm with a soft exterior coating. I think they will do a great job in protecting the hull. They are a lot cheaper than having the fiberglass guy repair the hull every few years. The only downside is they don't come with hardware. The grommets seem very beefy and will work well.

Questions
If I use these in a vertical orientation on 6" x 6" dock pilings to cushion a moored sailboat, will the vinyl covering be durable enough under chafing against the hull heaving up and down in waves and weather, or should I use a PVC bumper instead?
I used them in a horizontal orientation along the side of a finger pier. Wind is predominantly from the south which frequently causes the side of the boat to contact the bumpers. When backing in they do an exceptional job protecting the entire side of 31 ft. sail boat. So far they are holding up very well, still look new.
