Good design, terrible quality
There's a lot to love about the Takacat, mostly that it's stable and easy to land. It doesn't track well when rowing but motors great. Unfortunately, when I bought my first Takacat LX300 in 2020 and the seams leaked out of the box. After nearly 2 years of following up with their warranty team (whose only suggestion was to send me glue to fix it myself) they finally agreed to send me new tubes. These worked very well for a season but then began leaking again after 2 seasons. I've given up, trashed it and getting another brand of similar design. Caveat emptor!
