Expensive up front, but will be cheaper in the long run since they can be reused with new wire rope and you can build them right at the boat, no worries about using one of those small hand swagers for something that your life may depend on. I wish they would include an extra wedge kit. I lost one of the little brass 'donuts' over the side and had to wait for a replacement to arrive in order to finish. I replaced the lifelines on my 1995 Catalina 36. I needed four 30 foot rolls of 3/16 wire rope as well for the job.

Easy project. Just make sure you have adequate cable cutters.
