Very handy
I don't know that there's anything special about this chain hook, but just having one has greatly simplified my anchor-handling experiences. I have the hook on a 5-foot piece of line, and I use it to pull up the last foot or so of chain because otherwise my windlass bangs the anchor shank into my pulpit, Super easy to grab the chain with this hook. With the anchor up, I use the hook and line to tie to a cleat and take the pressure off the windlass.
