A great addition to the Standard Horizon GX1800, GX1850, GX2400, GX6000 VHF radios, the RAM4 Remote Access Microphone can control all radio, AIS and DSC functions. With a larger and brighter backlit display than most other RAM mics on the market, this remote access microphone shows full AIS targets, Lat/Lon location, channels, and more.

Nice Addition
With this remote mic and the MLS-410 speaker, I can now easily hear and use the VHF from the helm of my sailboat. It was a relatively easy install.

High quality and reliable
High quality remote station for Standard Horizon. I strongly prefer a wired connection for something like this, and this works great. Complete control of the radio is possible from this remote, including power on or off.

Upgraded
The Ram 4 puts all radio functions on your microphone. If your are upgrading from a CPM 30 you do not have to change out the cable.

Is there a mounting unit included With this? Also, any ideas about how to seal a hole in the deck when you put the wire through?
Hello, this comes with a mounting bracket that bulkhead mounts and seal from the back. attached is a picture of the mounting pieces.
