The Spinlock Single XTS Power Clutch is specified as standard equipment on production yachts worldwide and the choice of racing yachts inshore and offshore. This clutch provides reliable all around performance and is designed for mid to higher load line holding.

Doesn't slip, easy to open, and reliable
Purchased to replace an older same model clutch which broke after several decades. I went down a size on the teeth, which works great for newer, stronger, and thinner halyards than what the boat originally had. The new clutch holds so well that I was able to remove a second clutch in front of the old one. My crew tells me that it opens more easily under load than the old one, too (though we always try to take the tension off with a winch prior to opening it).
