Questions
How much weight will the 18 " buoy reasonably support? Suitable for 25' of 3/8 chain?
The 18" buoy has a net buoyancy of a little over 74 lbs. The weight of our 3/8 mooring chain (part number 940331) is about 1.44lbs/ft, however this will vary for other types and grades of chain. You are encouraged to verify that your own chain weighs less than 74lbs to be sure this buoy will work for your application.
