Description
The Sirius Signal SOS Distress Light optical design provides an omnidirectional light display for surface rescue craft, and a vertical beam visible to aircraft flying overhead. Improved flotation keeps the Sirius Signal even higher off the water, making the beam visible up to 10 nautical miles.

Light up for safety
This was to replace outdated flares that were on my boat. This Sirius Signal SOS Light is so easy to use and never goes out of date. Just remember to replace the batteries every year to be on the safe side. A great time is when you commission your boat in the spring. I highly recommend one.....

Questions
Can this be suspended from a halyard or similar line?
It does have a short line but obviously it would be upside down then which would defeat one purpose to see it from the sky so I’d say no.

What is the diameter of the handle of the C 1003? Wondering if it will fit in a rod or net holder tube. Thanks Joe
The main body of the handle measures 1.4 inches. The base of the handle measures 1.57 inches. The six points could easily be filed off to match the rest of the handle.
