Hi, Can you please tell me if this would be compatible with a Simrad NX40 and would it plug straight into the back of the unit or would i require another fitting. . Also if this GPS unit is not compatible could you please tell me what require. Thanks
The NX40 has NMEA0183 connections and can use an antenna like the Digital Yacht GPS160 item# 864858. The NX40 is very old though so you may want to double check with Simrad at 1-800-628-4487
