Sika Primer-209 D is a pigmented, solvent-based primer designed to enhance adhesion between paints, plastics, and Sika's 1-component polyurethane adhesives. Forming a thin, moisture-reactive layer, it creates a strong bond on challenging substrates like GRP, PVC, and epoxy resins. Suitable for above and below the waterline applications, it delivers reliable performance when proper testing is conducted.

Pigmented, solvent-based primer for paints and plastics. Sika® Primer-209 D is a solvent-based black primer, which reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. Sika® Primer-209 D is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to the application of Sika's 1-component Polyurethanes. This primer might provide excellent adhesion without previous activation steps on certain plastic substrates.
