Sika Aktivator-100 Adhesion Promoter

Sika® Aktivator-100 is a solvent-based colorless adhesion promoter, which reacts with moisture and deposits active groups on the substrate. These groups act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives. Sika® Aktivator-100 is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to the application of Sika's elastic adhesives and sealants.

Application:

• Sika® Aktivator-100 is used to improve adhesion on substrates such as:
  • Float glass
  • Ceramic screen prints
  • The cut face of old Polyurethane adhesives and paints
• After intensive testing, this activator is also suitable to enhance the adhesion of other Sika sealants and adhesives on non-porous substrates
• Seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Aktivator-100 on materials prone to stress cracking
• This product is suitable for experienced professional users only
• Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility
