Wood quality
Wood quality and finish is very good. I am using it as trim, just need to cut to size and oil. No sanding needed. I purchased a 5 3/4 plank, it is actually a glue up of two 2 2/78 boards. I assume the glue is suitable for the marine environment. Seam is very visible in some of the boards. This should be noted in the product description

Treak plank for outdoor threshold.
Exactly as expected. I read that teak is the best wood to stand up to repeated exposure to moisture. It is hard to find teak like this. The old threshold was made of i dont know what kind of wood but was completely rotted out. I hope the teak lasts!

Was glued pieces in description?
The 5 3/4 dimenson is actually two 2 7/8" pieces glued together. While it will still suffice for my project, I don't remember this being mentioned in the product description. Otherwise the quality of the wood was good and well-surfaced.
