Beware: slots are too narrow to hold kayak paddles
The product is billed as a kayak paddle rack. However, while the product is listed as being 8-1/2" wide, when I received the two racks I ordered, each inner slot was only 6-1/4" wide. Kayak paddles are typically 7 to 8" wide, so none of our paddles fit in the slots. To make matters worse, the return shipping cost me almost as much as one of the racks. It should be made clear that the product is for wood oars, not kayak paddles. The inner length and width of the slots should also be provided so that others do not make the same mistake that I did.
