Description
Sea Hawk Monterey is a water-based antifouling bottom paint. It has a solvent-free formulation designed to give the best protection against all types of marine fouling while remaining friendly to the environment.
Features:
- Water based, semi-hard, ablative, antifouling paint
- Low VOC's and highest grade of cuprous oxide available (more potent active ingredient)
- Easy to apply by brush, roller, or spray
- May be applied over other ablative antifoulant paints in good condition
- Boat can be hauled and launched without affecting the paint's antifouling properties, making it an excellent choice for trailered boats
- Longer lasting and excellent for use on all vessels
- Consistent solid colors for a uniform application
- Consistent viscosity means better flow and rolling ability

Sea Hawk Bottom Paint
Sea Hawk has been working well on the Thames River in New London. Copper concentration higher than other brands for the price. Econea based paint did not work well for us a number of years ago.

Sea Hawk Monterey
I've been using Seahawk Monterey for several years. My last application on my center console was in January 2024. I keep the boat in the warm waters of Southern Florida. After 14 months in the water and one bottom cleaning by a diver, the bottom was quite clean when I hauled her out. Since she was out of the water, I repainted the waterline. I chose this paint for its high copper content, ease of clean up and lack of odor.
