Description
Schaefer's (73-38) stainless steel spinnaker slide incorporates an attachment point for sailing hardware that is designed to bend under conditions of extreme force rather than fail suddenly.
Features:
- Captive polyethylene liners reduce friction between the track and slider for smooth adjustment

- Formed rings are heliarc welded to the slide and are designed to deform prior to breaking

Alternate Application
I purchased a used boat where the original boom vang attachment to the mast had been replaced with a t-track. This device worked well in lieu of reverting to the original equipment (if I could even find it).
