Seems to be an excellent unit
I've installed this on my 23' sloop, I don't have the boat in the water yet, but trying it on dry land including in a stiff breeze with my working jib, it looks good and seems to work very well. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: Installing the foil onto the headstay was next to impossible following the instructions which came with the unit. When I called Schaefer on this, it turns out that there is a special tool that they make which makes installation of the foil a true snap. Schaefer was kind enough to lend the tool to me, which made the job go really smoothly. I'm not sure if lending the tool out is their normal practice, or if they were doing me a special favor, but I would not recommend attempting to install the furler without either professional help, or the special installation tool. You'll want one or the other. Also, the 60 degree minimum working temperature the instructions call for should be considered a bare minimum-- Much easier to do the installation when the temperature is 70 or better.
