Rated 5 out of 5 by from SCAD TM2 Tank Monitor for Two Tanks After rebuilding our black water system, we went with the standard KUS float switch install in our holding tank. In less than 8 months we had to remove and clean the float twice to get the float moving inside the float tube. We are live aboards, do not put paper into our holding tank, and have our tank pumped once a week. The installation and programming was simple enough. While I prefer the accuracy of the KUS system as opposed to the digital LED scale, it is sufficient for our needs and (for now) no longer have to worry about how close to full our tank is. While we are not using it, the alarm feature is a nice touch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product 1 issue Love it except that the you must calibrate empty and full before you get full usage which is a bit infeasible especially for waste tanks. Run wires and calibrate in a separate bucket or pvc tube of water then drop in your boat tank.

Will this work with a dual tank 2 wire set up from KUS? My current gauge is an old Fireboy with 4 wires

Asked by: TimS
I'm not sure what you're asking. I have SCAD with two sensors, one on my water tank and one on the holding tank. I have two water tanks but they are usually connected when not underway so by calibrating E and F when connected I have a good idea of how much water we have.
