The SCAD Technologies Adapter Plate 10029 simplifies installing an internal PVC rod-style fluid level sensor in marine tanks with standard SAE-5 hole patterns. Designed to adapt the common 5-hole inspection plate layout to a 1" NPT mount, it provides a clean, secure solution for upgrading to SCAD's internal fluid level sensors.

Features:
- Application: SCAD Internal PVC Rod-Style Fluid Level Sensor with 1" NPT
- Function: Adapts an SAE-5 Hole Pattern to 1" NPT (See Diagram Below)
- If you are replacing a float sensor that is mounted through a large hole, surrounded by 5 smaller threaded holes, SCAD strongly recommends the use of this SAE-5 to1" NPT adapter
- Many metal marine tanks use a standard SAE 5-hole inspection plate that either covers an inspection port or is used to mount a float sensor
- The adapter plate replaces this and has a 1" NPT threaded hole in the center for mounting the SCAD Internal PVC Rod-Style Fluid Level Sensor
- This adapter makes installation of an internal sensor very easy

Good needs more items for good install
Be aware you’ll need some sort of gasket material between the adapter and your tank or it will not be watertight. Second, you’ll need a hole saw that is 1-3/8. For an internal sensor because if you use a 1 inch the threads will have nowhere to go on the larger portion of the sensor.
