The Raritan Slow Close Toilet Seat and Lid closes slowly to prevent hard slamming during use or any other time the lid/seat are up. This will fit all Raritan toilets except Atlantes elongated models.
Features:
- Toilet seat and lid close slowly to prevent hard slamming
- Special stopper locks seat in place to prevent seat from sliding and potentially breaking hinges
- For use on all manual and electric toilets, except Atlantes elongated models
- Fits most other brands of marine compact and household style bowls
- Seat and lid made of high-density fiberboard (HDF) with durable plastic hinges
- Supplied with corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners
- Two (2) sizes available:
- Model 1238SC: Fits most marine compact bowls - 13-3/16" W x 13-1/4" D
- Model 1245SC: Fits most household size bowls - 14" W x 15-7/16" D

Replacement seat well worth it
If you’re looking for a comfortable place to take a load off - look no further. This is the toilet seat for you. It disperses temperature remarkably well, so there’s no uncomfortably warm sits following someone shortly thereafter.

Simple and effective
Simple and well designed and includes appropriate hardware to address possible problems with fit to the bowl. Didn't need them in my case, but nice they were included. The slow close feature is a great improvement for use on a moving boat - no slamming or vibrations!
