Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY, this toilet has a major design flaw. The fill and the extraction pump are combined and have the same flow rate. Simple math would say that if you add any "fluids" they will not get flushed as the toilet cycles the same volume of water. The result of this design is that you have to shut off the supply water in order to flush the toilet. such a pain. Less than one star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get one, don't cheat yourself This thing is amazing. It wasn't that difficult to install and since we are only using the pressured house water we dump the throughhull thing. This toilet can do both kinds of water but since we put it in we have reduced our toilet smells to almost nothing. And let's talk quiet, the thing is really quiet, especially in water saver mode. We run it with the smart display; it just can't get easier than that. Yeah, its a bit expensive, but as much as we all like it including my little grandsons (no pumping anymore), its worth every penny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money! The sea era qc fresh water is absolute junk. If you rotate the bowl you will need to replace the hoses bc they won't reach. And once you do that you might aswell replace all the hoses bc the hoses provided are cheap garbage they come with even cheaper plastic junky hose clamps. As soon as you get the toilet you'll need to replace all the hoses and clamps with proper ones. Then you'll realize they didn't think any thing through on the design so you'll need to devise a way to hide the wires inside the cheap plastic clip on motor housing cover that comes with it. The cover there just clips on and we'll being a toilet eventually nasty things will get in and under the housing and you'll have no way to clean it. It comes with a vacuum breaker that is total plastic cheap junk that you'll want to eliminate. It's a fresh water toilet that uses a cheap seloinoid you don't need a vacuum break! It's to stop the event of sewage being back fed into your tanks as if that would happen on maybe .00001% of installs. The breaker is total cheap plastic junk. So the toilet with out the selonoid is like 300$ less and the selonoid is like 20$ so raraitan is screwing you there big time. The switch they give you doesn't have a rubber boot on it so you'll want to get a switch that does bc most heads on sailboats are wet so the switch won't last very long. The lids very nice and the bowl is to ( how could ot not be it a toilet!) Seems the macerator seems to be strong very loud and works well. If you want to get ripped off by raritan buy this toilet for 400 $ more then the other similar brands. If you want the fresh water model do your self a favor just by the lid bowl and toilet tell then to keep the junky hoses hose clamps and Vacuum breaker and ask for a discount ( they wouldn't give me one). Buy your own selonoid hoses clamps and switches bc the ones they sell won't last long. Mine lasted 4 weeks! It's a nice unit if it were priced correctly but at that price I'd expect the little things to be proper.

                    Questions

how much water is used on average/ flush??

                    Asked by: Geoff
As you control how much water it uses, it’s totally up to you. I’d say a quart or two depending on what you left in it.
