Takes guesswork out of replacing filter element
Fits perfectly in my old Racor filter from circa 2005. May not fit even older filters but my understanding is that the threaded part can be trimmed to fit.

How high is the unit from top of the racor? I only have 3” clearance. Thank you, Clay
Will not work with only 3” of clearance. Gauge alone is 2.5” high. T-handle is over an 1”. Then you have to unscrew the unit and pull it off above the filter housing to replace filter.
