Description
Features:
- The Racor 500FG Turbine Diesel fuel filter/water separator protects the precision components of your engine from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes and especially water, which is prevalent in low distillate fuels.
- Turbine Series filter assemblies are designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for best efficiency and protection against precision engine components from dirt
- Contaminants are removed from fuel using the legendary three stage process described below
- Separation: Using the fuel flow, the stationary turbine separates large solids and free water through enhanced centrifugal force
- Coalescing: Smaller water droplets and solids coalesce on the conical baffle and fall into the collection bowl.
- Filtration: Engines will benefit from near 100% water separation and fuel filtration with Racor's proprietary Aquabloc® water repelling media

Questions
What additional fuel line fitting adapters will I need to purchase if the 509FG will be used on a Yanmar marine engine model 4JH5E (53HP)? TY
Hello, the ports on this filter are 3/4´´-16 UNF at a minimum you will need a barb at each end to connect to your fuel line. If you do not already have fuel shut off's in place, you will want to add one before and after the filter. Some people add in a bypass as well.
