Description
Propprep is a special metal conditioner designed to provice a chemically conditioned surface prior to painting/applying Propspeed. It is used as a pre-treatment for propellers, shafts, struts and rudders prior to application of the Propspeed foul release system. Propprep is critical in the chemical preparation of the metal surface to be coated. The low percentage of phosphoric acid treats the metal in preparation for the Propspeed Etching Primer.
Application:
- Apply Propprep solution liberally, working over small areas at a time
- Do not allow the Propprep solution to dry out
- Remove by wiping off thoroughly with a clean rag
- To be used before applying the Propspeed Etching Primer
- Suitable for below the waterline only
