Propspeed Propeller and Running Gear Coating System Item # 878152
Description
PropSpeed foul-release coating is specially formulated to keep running gear and any other underwater metals, free of marine growth and protected against corrosion.

- Clear coat can also be applied directly to plastic bow-thruster propellers and underwater light lenses

Great Product but High Price
Prop Speed is super effective. Virtually nothing sticks to it, even in warm high fouling stagnant water. Only gripe is the super high cost.

Best price for Propspeed at Defender
This is the best price anywhere on the market. Buy this kit, and if you mess up three times, it’s still cheaper to buy three kits and learn to do it yourself than to pay the boatyard to do it.

Works very well
This is my second year using the product. It 100% keeps growth off the props.

Propspeed: expensive but it does the job
At first, Propspeed may appear overpriced. It’s not cheap, but it works. My prop remains clean of barnacles for a minimum of one year, sometimes two, sailing on Chesapeake Bay, mid and North Atlantic. And any bozo with 2 ounces of common sense can apply it

Questions
For a catamaran what would you recommend on the amount to get to do both props?
I can only answer that based on my experience and for what I used it on. I’ve a 25’ Ranger Tug. 3 16” bladed prop plus a bronze rudder that’s approximately 12x24. I was able to use the small kit. I did purchase the remover product from them as well as I had to prep with propspeed already on from a previous years. Hope this somehow helps. Good luck.
BTW… it really does work great!

How do I determine what size kit I need?
I have found that the recommended size kit for propeller size does not meet the bare minimum. I would upsize one level for Propseed's recommendation.
