Good morning, i was interested in buying this compass. I’m from argentina and someone told me that compass varies depending in witch side of the hemisphere you are. It’s that true? And if it is. This compass does fit for my hemisphere. Thanks alot.
According to Plastimo website, the 135 binnacle compass can be used in both hemispheres.

Is the LEDs only 12 volts or are they 12/24 volts? I am replacing a Suunto D135 with 24 volt lightoing.

Is it refillable?
Potentially, yes it is refillable. Plastimo heats up the plastic fill plug after it is filled at the factory so it can be drilled, tapped, filled, and a new plug installed; but not as easily as other brands. My old Plastimo 135, likely 27 years old, looked like someone had done it once before, but used sealant to seal it which leaked, and had misaligned the adjustment screws and cracked the binnacle case so I decided it was time for a new one. For the price, a 27 year lifespan makes it a good value.
