Description
Plastimo Offshore 105 Compass is a rugged front-reading flushmount compass that adapts to all steering consoles or dashboards. It has a built-in 3-piece articulating hood that enhances readability by eliminating glare on the dome and it protects the compass when completely closed.

- Optional bracket (not included) offers mounting variations – on a vertical bulkhead or horizontal surface to isolate compass from the dashboard (bracket kit includes actual bracket and bespoke screws)

This is not a bad compass for the money. It's not top of the line but provides good value for the price. The retractable sun hood is a nice feature to protect it when not in use. I have had this compass along with its larger brother the 135 for 30+ years. The fluid can not be refreshed like more expensive compasses and seems to have a life of about 15-20 years before leaking out. I am not sure how it leaks out - but it does. I just bought two more during an update to my vessel.
