Pettit Tie Coat Primer

Pettit Tie Coat Primer 6627 is a versatile, chlorinated rubber primer for use on metal surfaces as well as a tie coat between different types of coatings. It can be used above and below the waterline and is compatible with all Pettit antifouling bottom paints and topside finishes.

• Creates a smooth finish for excellent bonding for topcoats
• Compatible with all Pettit antifouling bottom paints
• Compatible with one-part topside paints Easypoxy, vinyl alkyds and conventional alkyds
• Used over Pettit 6455 / 044 Metal Primer, it forms an excellent, easy to use system for use on all underwater running gear
• Can be used as a tie coat for painted aluminum RIB hulls
• Suitable for above and below the waterline
