Excellent paint
A boatyard insisted I used this water based paint. I was very skeptical. After the first season there was ZERO fouling on the hull. Zip, zilch, nada. There is usually something, maybe a few barnacles, heavy slime, etc. With Hydrocoat Eco there was nothing. I couldn't believe it. On my second season, with a fresh coat, and so far so good. No odor and water cleanup. It is tough to get mixed well, but other than that it's fantastic.

White bottom paint
I wanted white bottom paint for my trailerable sailboat. Pettit has a great advantage in that I can paint in the fall before I store the boat and it's ready to go when spring comes. We often have spring temperatures too low to bottom paint and I like to get the boat in the water April 1st when the marina opens. In fresh water I can get two seasons out of this paint at Lake Nockamixon.

Pettit Hydrocoat
Works as well or better than much higher priced Interlux and Pettit anti-fouling paints I have used in the past. Soap and water cleanup of painting trays, roller handles and brushes is a breeze.
