Questions
Is primer needed on fibeglass
No. It acts like a primer though. Restoring our 40 year old Irwin, I am down to the fiberglass in the forward cabin. I've sanded some areas that looked like lite mold with rough 40 grit sand paper. Then painted the mold & mildew paint right on the bare glass through the whole interior. Really gets rid of the old boat smell and starts smelling like a "NEW" boat smell. COOL!

Any primer needed or cant this go over bare wood?
Yes, it can...BUT Petit recommends first using EZ Wood sealer and then EZ Prime before applying Cain Coat. It just won't adhere as well or be as durable.
