Not LED.
I bought this as a direct replacement for a 25 year old one who's switch went faulty. I was disappointed that the bulb was not LED in this day and age. I was also surprised that the lights wiring was not completed inside the unit. I had to connect the switch wires to provided secondary wires that connect to the boats wiring. Why they wouldn't do that at the factory is puzzling. The glass and base is quality.
