Halyard splice
Great price on the Argus rope, however the splice at the halyard shackle required removing the outer core as it was too thick for the mast sheave, with the outer core tucked into it

Questions
How much would the 150-foot version weight? I need to figure out if we can check it as baggage.
The answer is in the line spec's. It's called pound per foot!

How long is the line?
I see you can order whatever length you need. That depends on your boat and how much line you want. The appropriate length is for you to determine. My original halyard had way too much line coiled up (and it was also going bad) so I got something shorter. If you need more information, get help from some knowledgeable sailors in your are.

How is this jib halyard finished on the non shackle end of the line? Is it just a whiped end?
Yes just whipped
