Bag Handles
This rope is beautiful. It looks like hemp but is soft on the hand. I use it for handles on bags made from retired sails. It splices well.

Difficulty getting New England Rope Vintage
This is part of a much larger order that included 1/4,3/8,5/8,3/4 dia. all New England vintage 3 strand ranging from 250 feet to 600 feet spools, I was hoping to get 2 spools (1200ft. of 1/4 inch line and all you had was 150 feet. When I asked to order the 2 spools I was told you wouldn't order rope until you had sold out of the 1/4 inch. I bought what was available and waited for over a month for the remaining 1/4 inch 3 strand to be restocked. I just received notification that it is available, unfortunately we are well into our operating season and have had to make do with other products. Is there a problem getting product from NE Rope?

My catboat was initially rigged with a 3 strand rope that is a low stretch manmade material that feels like cotton. This material makes it much easier to handle the lines. Is this line similar?
Yes. It is designed to look "retro" but perform similarly to modern cordage.
