Great product if you purchase the correct one.
I ordered this replacement for my 24 year old trawler. Part shipped same day. HOWEVER, there are 2 styles. One with and one without the interior restraining cable. This is not indicated on the website. The cable hold the hatch in position, preventing the hatch from continuing to open; in my case to hit the railing. Product quality is excellent. The only thing wrong with the old one was the interior cable had broken. Defender doesn’t offer the one with the restraining cable (which seems to be the only logical application).
