Great alternative to replacing the AC unit.
I was nervous at first. The unit is so old and wasn't sure it was worth fixing. I installed the new board and every wire had a connection point without having to guess at anything. It came right on and has worked great. The only difference I noticed was that it wont alternate the temp display between room temp and setpoint any longer. Very small trade off for being able to avoid replacing the whole AC unit.
