Questions
I just bought a used 18' boat and the previous owner had recently bottom painted it.He did not cover the transom mount of the outboard which gets submerged Can I use this to protect the mount? I'd rather not buy a big can of paint until I need it?
It will work but the bottle is small so your coverage area will be very limited. I would suggest getting a quart of bottom paint for metal parts and use it for serveral seasons.

Can this be used on Garmin GT51 transducer?
I used it on my Garmin GT15 transducer with excellent results. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a GT51 transducer.
