Description
Important Note:
- The Model 3227 plastic cap as used on the top of the clutch nut on 2500 Vertical and horizontal models will be discontinued
- In the past this cap was used on 2200,2500,3500,4000 windlasses and 1500 capstans
- A stainless steel replacement for this plastic cap was introduced in 2012 and fitted to the SY 1500 and 4000 windlasses
- A decision was made to improve the appearance of all products by using this stainless steel cap, therefore all products will now use the stainless 7191 cap and the 3227 plastic cap will be discontinued
- As a result the 3227 plastic cap will no longer be available and is replaced by the P104750, Stainless Steel Cap (49 mm) and O-Ring Kit which is now the direct fit replacement

I have the stainless cap part # 7191, and only need the o ring. What is the o ring part number so I can order it?
We needed only the O-ring as well, and were unable to find one despite lots of looking ... so we reluctantly ended up buying this kit with the cap to get it.
