The Fixed Grapnel/Wreck Anchor is designed for temporary anchoring during wreck/structure fishing.

Size matters
It's a great quality anchor but it's huge and is way too large for a 25ft bay boat. I can't bend it while in my garage. I would Suggest a much smaller anchor than the size they recommend. I honestly think it would work for a 40ft center console. It would take a lot of power to bend those tines to release it from a structure, and I have no idea how you would bend it back like other reef anchors.

Great anchor and works great. Shaft is a bit longer than necessary and would be even better if the anchors were made of aluminum for saltwater use.

What are the tine diameters of the various weights of anchors you show? I want to use one as a grapple hook to tear down beaver dams.
Hello,
The weights are listed in the drop down menu. Marpac does not give many specifications on them they are fairly large. The tines are made to be somewhat flexible so they can be bent back into shape after being dislodged from a rock. Maybe try Tractor Supply or Northern Tool that have products for removing brush etc.
