A drop in replacement for a marlin windlass
This was an easy drop in for my marlin windlass. There are 2 items that too away a star. First the M1 and M2 terminals are not labeled. Second it includes the chain counter sensor, but not the display. So you have to drill another hole to accommodate this even if you don't use it. I wish it was removable. Support from Defender was awesome. The helped me with the termial issues since they are only labeled + or -. They responded within a few hours. I would definitely recommend this to replace a marlin. Much more robust and the chain drive is better designed.
