Easy Enough/ direct replacement
My 2018 Tiara C44 Coupe was in salt water for the first 6 years and the CPX3 windlass lower unit needed to be replaced with this 12volt V3 model. I’ve never replaced a windlass before and this was easier than I expected. I labeled the 3 wires before removing the old unit and used a 13mm wrench to remove the 4 nuts. You will also need to remove the gypsy. The top cover with 5mm Allen wrench.
