Description
The Lewmar V-Series Windlass Manual Recovery Kit is an emergency manual recovery kit for FastFit™ V-series (1, 2 and 3) gypsy / drum modelwindlasses manufactured after 2008. This kit enables you to manually retrieval an anchor using standard winch handle.

Lewmar manual recovery
Works as advertised. Easy assembly (5 min). I have been using it almost daily as I wait for Lewmar parts. It’s a workout, but well worth the price to avoid hauling chain by hand. Four stars because a standard Lewmar “locking” winch handle does not fully seat in the top of the shaft.

Manual recovery
No problems with the unit. It would be nice to have a winch handle with an offset since my windless in recessed in the deck.
