Lewmar Screens are Tender during Shipping
Screens arrived mangled. Not the shipping box. The screen itself. The same thing happened with two of the four screens we ordered at Amazon. I thought Defender would have better QA before shipping.

No better choices.
Screens stay in securely, but the locking clip is plastic and eventually breaks. The material cover turns white after awhile from washes and sun. This is third set I have gotten. The originals are solid plastic with grey color and don’t stay in place. I use them when waiting for the replacements.

Lewmar port light fly screens
These screens actually do clip to the frame of the port light and you can close the port light window without removing them. This is the positive aspect. The negative is that it does interfere with your view through the acrylic, and the price is somewhat high.

Questions
What size is a standard portlight clip flyscreen that is 10 3/8" x 4 5/8"?
Lewmar denotes what flyscreen will fit the portlight by the size of the portlight. These per Lewmar are listed as size 1, size 2, size 3 etc. Lewmar said as long as you know the size of the portlight then you just select the corresponding flyscreen. If you are unsure what size Lewmar portlight you have they suggested you contact them at 800-628-5188.
