Good knob mounting not so great
Good Knob spins smooth and free. The mounting system leaves a lot to be desired. Ring clamp doesn’t bite on the wheel leaving it loose. Had to drill through a spoke because my wheel is hollow. Satisfied with the end result. If you have a way to bolt mount it’s a good solid knob.

Not designed particularly well.
I had to modify the pins so the strap wouldn’t slip off them. I also wish it was easier to remove the cover. But nice action.

Works very well
Attached this to the wheel of my Boston Whaler. Very sturdy and the ball bearings make it very smooth.

Perfect fit!
Perfect fit on my BW destroyer wheel, heavyweight, high quality, feels like factory... significantly changes the handling of the boat.

Questions
How to install?
You'll want to follow the included instructions... essentially the cap get removed which will allow you to install and tighten the hardware.

How do you remove cap? Mine did not come with any instructions.
I had the same problem. Get a razor blade, the kind with one edge. You can slide it under pry up and the cap will pop right off
