              Questions

Is this the replacment that is adhered to inside of hatch plexglass? Is there a suggested adhesive?

              Asked by: Bajachief
I did not need an adhesive once I drilled a whole through acrylic glass as there was screw to mechanically secure inner and outer pieces. The two inner cone shape pieces had different surfaces mating with glass; one had small nub just outside center and the other had two slightly elevated plastic slivers either side of center hole of cone shape piece. I drilled small indent for first version of cone and that seated cone to bottom of glass at center of hole. The rubber o-ring still made even contact to prevent leakage into compartment( Head area) a very small low profile lewmar hatch #10 The intention for these parts was to eliminate failure point in original design where adhesive often failed over time ($100 application) and not guaranteed to work. The new parts ment drilling whole through acrylic glass and attaching screw fastner in hatch handle.
