Great Hatch, a little spendy.
I replaced a Jim Black hatch with this low profile lewmar. The aluminum extrusion was a major step up in quality and it looks very very good. Installation was a significant amount of work due to different hole patterns and slightly different sizes but the lewmar feels much more substantial but not much thicker and only a bit heavier.
Shipping could have been a little better. It came in a single layer cardboard box with three small inserts to keep it centered. I suspect this contributed to one small scratch on the aluminum coating. Overall such and expensive product should be *extremely* well protected, it costs nothing compared to the product.
I wish this came with an inner liner for the price, or the inner liners were not so expensive but right now I don't think I'd choose anything else because I want the quality.

With stay means it has a rod that props it open. Without stay is self supporting.
